Can’t move pages that have child pages

Hi,

I can no longer move pages that have child pages in Confluence. When I try to move such page I am getting an error „Move failed. There was a problem contacting the server“ (pic). If the page that I am moving does not have child pages everything is fine and it is moved successfully.

I’ve tried to move the page from Page Reorder tool as well, there is no error but when I close it I can see that the page is not moved.

I am an admin and I have all of the necessary permissions. We also reviewed the confluence log, but there are no ERRORS or information that could lead us to the possible cause of the problem.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

We tried your suggestion. Sadly, it didn't help.

Maybe the ancestor table is corrupted? You can rebuild it by going to <Confluence-url>/permissions/pagepermsadmin.action >> Rebuild.

We've tried it but we are still getting the same error.
