Can we restrict any person/group from creating sub pages?

I have created a main page and have restricted edit permissions for that page and the sub pages.

However I see others can create a sub page under the main page although the main page and the currently available sub pages are restricted to view only. Wanted to understand if confluence has also an option to restrict people creating sub pages.

Yes, at the space level you can remove the "add page" permission.
