Can you create a template from an existing page?

I have a page created in legacy editor - I would like that to be a template - I can't copy and paste the legacy elements into the template.

 

Can you create a template from an existing LEGACY page?

I don't think that is possible. If it's not to big, then try to recreate it in the new editor.

I guess my wish was that I could create a template that retained the Legacy attributes.
