We use Confluence for our Online Workflow Help. I'm an Admin on the system, with full admin privileges to all product Working spaces. But for some reason, I can no longer edit one specific Workspace. The little pencil icon indicating Edit permissions does not appear.
Under Space Tools / Permissions it has the standard set of Admin Group user privileges, and I even tried adding myself as a specific user with full Admin privileges -- but no go, the Edit icon doesn't appear.
Other Admins have the same problem with this one particular space.
Has anyone every run into this problem before, and know how to make the space editable?
Hi @Stephen Zmetana,
according to the screenshots it looks like you're on Confluence Server / DC and you seem to be using Scroll Versions in that space.
With Scroll Versions individual space versions can be edit-restricted to prevent unintended changes in completed versions. I suppose this has been done here. These restrictions are not shown by the padlock icon.
Please see our docs here how to check and manage these restrictions: https://help.k15t.com/scroll-versions/4.1/manage-versions-188549756.html
If you need further help please reach out to our support team at https://support.k15t.com or help@k15t.com
Cheers,
Jens
Hi Jens,
Yes, using Scroll Versions. But no Edit restrictions to the versions are indicated.
I even tried explicitly adding Admins group to Roles, to see if that would enable Edits. But no joy.
Somehow the whole space in Confluence seems to be locked off.
I will reach out to your Support Team, thanks!
Stephen

Can you also share the settings on the page restrictions? (lock icon). Maybe there is something there even though it says there are no restrictions.

Thanks for the suggestion, Fabian.
But when I click the Lock Icon it also shows "No Restrictions"
