I've tried in Chrome and Safari and I can highlight/select a page properties macro, use the copy command, then go to another page and use the paste command but all I get is a pseudo-table. No macro. No real table. (And, no, I can't just add the macro and paste the table, that also does not work.)
I have a bunch of pages to update with a page properties macro and this is going to make it tedious and annoying.
Is this just a Mac thing? Is this a Cloud thing?
(At a previous job I used Atlassian server-based products on a Windows laptop and did not have this problem.)
I do think this is Cloud related. I have experienced the same thing regarding copy/paste on Confluence cloud.
Have you tried to copy the content of your clipboard to a text editor and then copy that content into the new Confluence page? I know it is an extra step in your workflow...

Did not work. I even tried looking at the storage format (markup) and copying then pasting that. It only can be copied within the same document which is NOT helpful.
