Cannot create New Space with https redirect from F5

Hello,

We have Confluence 5.10.7 setup on-premise server using an MS SQL 2016 database. The URL is configured to http. We use F5 to redirect all http requests to https. It works fine, but with the redirect enabled users on our external network can no longer create spaces, it just hangs.

Any suggestions?

If you base URL doesn't match what's coming in from the F5, you're going to have a bad time.  If you have the F5 doing HTTP to HTTPS redirection, then the URL is going to be HTTPS when it hits Confluence, which is going to differ from the HTTP base URL and cause problems.
