I am trying to write a document that contains the text `:prepend`, however, the `:p` keeps getting replaced by an emoji.
Two questions:
- How do I make it stop so I can type what I type?
- What setting is there to stop this nonsense from happening in the future? Because I as a user want a no nonsense typing experience.
@Peter Majchrák As soon as Confluence turns the characters into the emoji, press Ctrl+z to undo the action. This will change it back to the characters you typed.
I believe there is no way to permanently disable this feature.
You can prevent Confluence from automatically converting text to emoticons by disabling Autoformatting in your user profile
You do this by selecting your picture in the top right
- selecting Personal Settings.
- select Editor
- check Disable Autoformatting.

Just to make sure, is this it?
I don't have it disabled and I'm not experiencing emoji autocorrection

Ahoj @Peter Majchrák
Weird, when I start typing that, I do get the list of optional emojis but if I keep typing, it disappears and I can type the word as normal.
I know it used to that but can't explain why it's NOT happening on my site.
