Hello everybody
In our company, there are a lot of users, which copy/paste images from a snipping tool to a confluence page. So when the image in confluence is pasted, the default image title is a timestamp.
The timestamp title is neither meaningful nor useful.
Is there a way, to set the image title name when you copy / paste an image to confluence from a snipping tool?
In a page, you can rename the image by navigating to Ellipsis (...) > Attachments > Properties, editing the name, and saving the details. You may not be able to rename the image while copy pasting.
However, it is always suggested to include any image in the page by using the Insert files and images option from the menu. If you copy paste an image, many a times, you see a broken image in a different browser or incognito window or when you upgrade your confluence.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Sireesha
Thanks for the suggestion.
I know, that you can change the name afterwards. But that's not really done by the users... so i look for an workaround, maybe by a plugin, which pop up when you paste an image, like jira does
Do you know, is there a way to block the users copy pasting the images, so that they have to use insert files and images from the menu?
