Clarification on Space Admin Permissions for Page Deletion in Confluence Cloud

Hi Atlassian Support,

I’m seeking clarification regarding the permissions granted to space admins in Confluence Cloud. Specifically, I’d like to confirm whether being designated as a space admin automatically grants the ability to delete any page within that space.

From my understanding, space admins can manage permissions and configure space settings, but it seems that page deletion rights may still depend on specific space permissions or page-level restrictions. I haven’t found a definitive statement in the documentation that confirms this behavior.

Could you please confirm:

1. Whether space admins automatically have the ability to delete all pages in their space.
2. If not, what specific permissions or conditions must be met for a space admin to delete a page.
3. Whether page-level restrictions can override space admin delete rights.

A link to the relevant documentation or an official explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

User or groups are granted space admin

1. Space admins need to be granted deleted page permission
2. Grant the Delete permission
3. Yes if a user has been grated delete permission, but have been restricted from a page, they can reach the page.
