Clipboard images missing size options when adding to pages (latest cloud confluence)

Before the recent cloud update for confluence, we had options available to adjust the sizing of the image.  Today you can stretch the image but we have noticed the quality is reduced.  Also if you select left-justified the image quality is reduced.

This single reduction in functionality reduces the value of the platform since images are critical to document on various pages. 

What options do we have to help with this?

Hello Kyle,

Thank you for reporting this to us. I understand you are running into two issues here:

1. When resizing images (specifically those you've pasted from your clipboard), the image quality is reduced.
2. In addition, when left-aligning images without resizing them, the quality is also reduced.

Have I understood that correctly?

Could you let me know if a specific file type is affected? I'm aware of a similar issue when resizing PNG files (particularly with text in the image):

• CONFCLOUD-54701 PNG Images pixelated when scaled

As for your 2nd issue, there's a bug where aligning the image removes the changes you made:

• CONFCLOUD-68532 Resizing an image and then change its alignment to Left or Right changes the size we set

If that is not what is occurring in your 2nd issue, can you please clarify your problem?
