Companion app and multiple saves does not allow upload

Before companion app I used edit with office in the past and I could open my Excel file, and as I updated values during the day I saved in Excel which also save the latest version of the file in Confluence; this is useful to keep the latest changes accessible to the team. Since we upgraded now we have to use companion app. I open my spreadsheet with companion app, make some edits, and save in Excel. however it does not update my Confluence copy live as used to do. So now I have to go to the browser, and the companion app basically tells me that the file was changed and prompts me to upload. it. So far an extra annoying step, but the problem comes after. I leave my Excel open and do more changes. If I save in Excel nothing is saved to Confluence :-(. If I go to the browser there is no dialog with upload available anymore. So I have to go tot my Windows $HOME  .atlassiancompanion and find the latest version and upload to Confliuence. The alternative is when I saved the first time, close Excel, and go back to confluence and after I update open with companion app again.

Am I doing something wrong? How can I keep editing the same file during the day or for several days and force updates to the copy in confluence without having to close excel as I did in the past?

Hi @Miguel Rodriguez

100% with you! That is really annoying. I have the same problem and no solution for that. With the companion app, I can only save once, has to close the application and open it again from confluence.

If someone has a solution, I'm interessted to hear.
