Is there any macro available in Confluence that can show the same kind of detailed changes as the “Compare Versions” feature in Page History — without needing admin rights/ or clicking manually like\ current functionality for comparing different versions of pages,
I need a way to automatically reflect what has been changed on a page, without having to ask contributors or manually compare versions. Ideally, every edit should be clearly visible so that changes are easy to track and understand.
@MS Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If I understand your question correctly, you are looking for a feature like in Word where you can turn on Track Changes and Show All Markup. It also sounds like you do not want to ever Accept Changes, so you will see every change ever made to the page.
If you have ever used these features in a Word document that is changed often, you will understand why this would make a Confluence page very difficult for anyone to read and determine what is the current content.
I don't know if there is a 3rd-party app that would help you accomplish this, but, as you've found already, the native Confluence feature to provide this information is the Compare Versions in the Version History.
EDIT: If this is not what you mean, please provide additional information on what you want to accomplish so that we can offer appropriate suggestions.
