ConfiForms: search in TableView

I have a question about how search works in TableView.
If I have pagination set to 500 records and there are 1500 in total, will the search work for just those 500 records or for all of them?

There is a 2 way searching in the views - on the view while typing and on pressing the ENTER key performing a remote search
