I would like to use the confiform macro to create a new page from a template and use the form input to fill inn sections of the newly created page.
Is this possible? If so, what would be a good solution?
Hi
You can create pages by submitting a form in ConfiForms
The page template may have ConfiForms "view" macros, such as TableView, CardView, ListView, etc - filtered dynamically to show the data you want/need from a submitted form
The easiest way to reference / create a filter to the same record created as a result of a form submit is to put it to
id:[entry.id]

Thanks for the answer. Is it possible to choose the parent page you wish the page to be a child of from an option group?

Yes, of course - https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/FORMS/How+to+create+pages+in+Confluence+with+ConfiForms
See ConfiForms IFTTT macro parameters and "Parent page" parameter in particular
