Confiform filters refresh

Hi, I have a confiform filter control which is helping filter data in a tableview. Within tableview, there is an edit control which opens up a screen for editing fields. 

However, when I save the changes on that edit screen, the filters get reset. 

How do I retain the filter values after editing (using dialog and not inline) an entry?

This is not quite possible at the moment

ConfiForms Filter Control works independently from edits and therefore neither edit controls no the filter control know about each other
