Confiforms - IFTTT update by entry - trigger on another form

Sopaboba October 19, 2021

Hi everybody

I don't even know whether what I am trying to do is possible, but there it goes.

Consider you have two forms.

On the first one, I have defined one IFTTT triggered on modified, that updates entries by filter. It has been set up like a father-child database, with a second one that has multiple entries sharing a field key with the first one.

Ok. What I want to get is that all the records on the second form sharing that field with the first form were updated with the IFTTT triggered.

Well ... that is working really well. but ... where is my problem?

In the second form, there's some other IFTTT defined, but I can't make the form triggered those other IFTTT (most of then on Modified events). I thought that, as you update entries, those IFTTT should be triggered too. Is that even possible or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you so much for your time, experts.

Hi

You need to explicitly say to run ALL the IFTTTs when you want to do the cascading...
