We have created a repeatable, near fully automated, Confluence templated repository employing Confiforms with all its wonderful functions, rules, and ifttt integration capabilities.
We are now considering how to seamlessly roll out changes to our repository as we update templates to extend functionality, enhance usability, and the cosmetic bugs that are encountered to previously created template pages.
Working my way through documentation but perhaps someone can let me know if I can create a page from a template via ifttt rules where it will support Live Template capabilities?
Most often we have seen that the template you use for ConfiForms to create pages is re-created as a user macro.
Basically taking the storage format for the IFTTT macro from ConfiForms and recreating it in a user macro, and then using that user macro inside the IFTTT, so each new page gets created with a user macro instead
This allows you to centrally manage the user macro contents and get them propagated immediately to all the pages using this macro
Another option is to leave as is, but create an IFTTT that reacts on a certain update that you can trigger via REST API for all records or a subset and which triggers the pages to be recreated (with new updated contents)
