Confluence 5.3 Search Bar Rendering issue

Ok, no reasonable way to insert an image, I'll try to describe it then.

The search field and the selection dropdown (SharePoint&Confluence, Confluence Only) render stacked on each other, ruining the interface.

Instead of looking like [SharePoint&Confluence]\/ [Search] it renders like

[SharePoint&Confluence]\/

[Search]

There are a number of reasons that this issue could be occurring and you didn't actually mention much about how you have this configured so I think the best thing would be if you open a ticket with Support, including a screenshot of the issue and your logs, then we can investigate the problem for you and hopefully find a solution.
