Hello,
I'm trying to install Confluence on my system (Win 10 Pro, 64MB RAM) but it continues to fail with an error message saying: Couldn't load main class and pointing to the log file "..\AppData\Local\Temp\i4j_nlog.log".
In that log file I find the following (extract):
[6:934] Creating JVM
[6:973] JVM created
[6:973] load helper dll
[6:973] helper dll (in-module) 00007FF65A110000
[6:980] ERROR: did not find com/install4j/runtime/installer/platform/win32/Common
[6:980] ERROR: did not find WinDel class
[6:980] setting exe4j.moduleName to R:\__Purchased Software\_Development\Atlassian\2020-03-17\atlassian-confluence-7.3.3-x64.exe
[6:981] main class: com/install4j/runtime/launcher/WinLauncher
[6:981] ERROR: could not find main class
[7:31] Java window visible
Turning the Anti-Virus software off doesn't make a difference.
Does somebody have an idea how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Rolf André
I was able to solve this by using the ZIP-file (atlassian-confluence-7.7.3.zip), i.e. a manual installation of Confluence instead of the installer (e.g. atlassian-confluence-7.7.3-x64.exe). The EXE resulted in the described error no matter which version of the Confluence installer I used.
