Confluence API (v1 versus v2)

Hello! I'm developing an integration using Confluence OAuth and the REST API. However, I'm confused about using the v1 versus v2 REST API. I've been following this document  for the v1 API. 

However, I see in this view that all the v1 endpoints are deprecated and we should be switching to V2. In V2, though, I don't see any type of search API. How can I search through all my confluence content using CQL with the v2 endpoints? Is it okay to continue using the v1 endpoints?

There are no plans to deprecate this endpoint.
