Confluence Android Mobile Client - Hyperlink across Spaces not working properly?

Using the Android Mobile Client for Confluence I am able to select a hyperlink from within a Space and remain in the Mobile Client. However, if I select a hyperlink to a page in a different Space I am prompted to select my browser or the Confluence mobile client to view the page. Selecting the Confluence client displays an error "Can't open in App". Selecting the Browser does open the page...but this happens every time I select the link...I cannot set the browser as a default choice. My preference would be to stay in the app itself.

It appears this is the same behavior reported earlier in this bug:

I have updated the bug to include your findings. I was able to replicate this on the iOS version of the app as well, and the original workaround doesn't appear to work in this case.

Please vote on the bug in order to help show the number of users who are running into the issue. Any comments on the bug will also be seen by our development team.
