I have a template Space with multiple Pages with each Page containing Tasks.  I want to be able to copy this template Space, for each new project, to a project Space. Each Task on the template pages has a place-holder for a user link to be inserted (eg. "_consultant", "_projectmanager"). When I copy the template space to the project Space, I want to be able to perform a 'Replace All' type function across all Pages in the project Space.  I want to be able to replace the text place-holders with a proper User link that will in turn become the Assignee for the Task.

Is there any way to perform this function or is there a better way to do it?

Hi David,

Our Space Tree Creator (STC) Add-on can help you. You can place tags (e.g. __projectmanager__) within the STC-Template page tree. During the creation process the STC searches all tags an present them in the STC-Form. The user can fill in the form (there is an autocomplete user picker) and create his page tree.

Check out our LIVE EXAMPLES (no registration needed).

Give it a try: Marketplace link Space Tree Creator.

Regards,
Stephan
