Confluence: Cannot upload image / cannot modify settings

Hello all,

2 days ago a user experienced an issue with Confluence.
User cannot upload photos (tried png, jpg, even a paint copy-paste), tried with upload, drag and drop - and the following message appears all the time:
"Your session has expired, Maybe you need to refresh the confluence page or the site."

At the same time, user cannot even edit for example the language of the confluence. Both cases user gets the aforementioned message.

Confluence v. 6.14.0.

any addons in his browser preventing the storage of a session cookie?

can you share log file (HOME/logs/atlassian-confluence.log) from same time when this problem occur?
