I've just installed Confluence Cloud App on my android device. It works fine but when I moved the device under the corporate environment which applies TLS inspection on internet gateway, the app stops working with an error message "Please reconnect, try it again".
The inspector's local root certificate has been installed on my Android and other applications or browsers works fine (well inspected)..
Does the confluence app refuses TLS inspection (mitm)? If so, which hosts should be bypassed (*.atlassian.com is enough?). I want to have a list for that if it exists. Or can we make the App to trust the local root certificate?
If the App is Ok for inspection, I'll ask our IT to check what is happening between the gateway inspector and confluence servers..
# Confluence Cloud App for IOS works under the same environment instead. It looks to be accepting the 3rd party signed certificates.
Hi @Mikamin,
Welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to have you join us. I'm happy to help you determine what the issue is when connecting is the Confluence Cloud app.
First, we do indeed have a list of IPs and domain ranges that need to be accessible to use Atlassian Cloud products:
IP addresses and domains for Atlassian Cloud products
Secondly, I remember working on a few other cases with Confluence server customers, who had a problem with the app accepting their certificates. I'll share those questions with you in case it helps:
I hope that helps, but if you continue to encounter any problems, please let me know.
Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon!
Shannon
Hi @Shannon S ,
Thanks for your information. I will try to start bypassing the hosts in the list first.
