Some of our users have stumbled upon the somewhat recently released database feature for Confluence Cloud, but ran into a few issues with exporting that data again.
Is there a way of changing the delimiter for the database csv export, and the csv export encoding?
Currently it seems to default to using a comma as delimiter, and use an encoding that doesn't jive all that well with german umlauts.
E.g. compare this screenshot of the database within our Confluence Cloud instance:
with its default csv export opened in MS Excel:
We are fully aware that one can change the default delimiter via a global setting in MS Windows, but that is certainly not what we want, as it would break all the other csv files we handle within our system right now.
Is there a way of configuring this export within Atlassian Cloud without needing additional apps from the Atlassian Marketplace?
@R_ Buchweitz welcome to the Atlassian community
Currently there is not a way to change the delimiter. I would suggest submitting a enhancement request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440
