Hey community,
we recently migrated from Confluence server to Confluence Cloud.
Unfortunately we're missing some useful macro-features in the Cloud, for example the following:
When tab-structuring a page with the @Support RefinedWiki UI Tab macro, every tab got its own URL like this:
?pageId=xyz#tab-[tabTitle]
That was quite comfortable when you wanted to point to the content of a certain tab from another page or even from outside Confluence.
In the Cloud-version of UI Tabs this doesn't work anymore and I did not find any workaround by now.
Do you have any idea how to get this feature back or do you know any other Tab-macro for this use case?
Thanks and best regards
Stefan
Before the UI tab is released for Cloud, you can search for alternative solutions in Atlassian Marketplace.
For instance, you can consider
- Content Formatting Macros for Confluence (the tool that, except tabs, gives the list of other macros, such as Numbered Headings, Buttons, Tooltip etc.
My Adaptavist team has created the last one, so if you have any questions about it - let me know.
Hi @Zoriana Bogutska_Adaptavist_
thanks for your recommendations for other tabs macros.
Just to get things right: UI Tabs is also available for Cloud. Our painpoint is that it lost the feature to provide each tab with an own, linkable URL.
Do the macros you mentioned provide this URL-feature? At least I didn't find it in the macro description in the marketplace, but maybe I just missed it.

@Stefan Draber Thank you for your comment. Sorry, it looks like I missed that.
Yes, the second app allows adding linkable URLs.

Hi Stefan,
Raj from Refined here.
You're right that UI tabs from our Refined Toolkit for Confluence app on server/DC do have the feature where each tab gets its own URL, and that this isn't currently available on the cloud version of Refined Toolkit.
This is useful feedback for us though, and we'll consider it going forward with Refined Toolkit on cloud (if it is something we can do on the cloud side of course). Be sure to keep an eye on our release notes here for updates, or feel free to reach out to us over at help.refined.com.
Best regards, Raj Sehmi

Thanks @Raj Sehmi for your feedback, I'd love the feature to make its way to Confluence Cloud :)
