Confluence Content Update

Hi All,

we have 2 Instances namely Staging instance and PROD instance, Staging is exact Replica of PROD, since past few Months we haven't updated anything on Staging Server, so data on it is quite old and We want to keep both server Live.

Can anyone please let us know how to update Staging server such that it becomes Updated with latest Content same as PROD.

Hi Akash,

If both your instances are running the same version, you can just copy all the content of your production Confluence home directory and paste it into staging and clone production database and edit the confluence.cfg.xml to point to the cloned database.

If Confluence version is not the same or you have some customization in production that are not applied to staging, you may follow the steps of this doc to create a full copy of your production instance.
