Hi Guys,
If we setup a Confluence data center env with the main node: node1 in our main network segment,than have 5 to 14 nodes each one in different network segment. (All on the same database as node1 in the main network)
If each node only has access to the main one. (Not each other)
Will this env work?
Example:
node2 only access to node1
node2 <-> node1
node3 only access to node1
node3 <-> node1
(And node2 and node3 will not have any access to one another)
(node1 has access to all nodes)
(All nodes have access to main database)
Is this possible? Would thsi work?
Hi Yaniv!
Confluence Data Center requires that all nodes are able to communicate with each other so that they can keep caches and indexes in sync. It is a hard requirement that all nodes must be able to communicate with each other. In fact, we recommend using two NICs on each node so that one NIC is dedicated just to intern-node communication. We hope you find this information helpful!
Thanks!
