Confluence: JIRA plugin / Filter does not display the real name of a user but only his account ID

We have a custom field in JIRA, where a JIRA user can be selected and the user name is displayed in JIRA correctly. When we want to display such issues in confluence, the custom field shows only the JIRA accound ID (which is a number) and not the name.

This macro is currently implemented like that. See this suggestion, which is yet not implemented.
