Confluence Mobile App: can it use client certificates?

My confluence instance is behind an nginx reverse proxy with strict client certificate checking. Clients using the mobile app appear to be unable to access the site (whereas web based access works fine) unless I make the certificate check optional. Is there any way to have the Confluence mobile app present a deployed client certificate and if not is this a feature worth requesting for the mobile apps, as the mobile app makes quite a difference particularly for using Confluence on phones?

Ah yes that does look like where it would be advertised.  Alright, hopefully they add the feature since I am required to enforce client certificate checking.
