Confluence Publish error - multiple users editing same page - new editor

We regularly have multiple people editing the same Confluence page when remote team members are working together.

But - this seems to be a problem with the newer editor.  If we are in the old editor - it works fine.  In the new editor, the first person who hits publish is successful.  Everyone else gets an error.  

Is anyone else experiencing this?
