It seems there are several issues with using Confluence with Microsoft Edge. We currently use the cloud version of Confluence and JIRA and I'm constantly having to restart MS Edge because trying to do something in confluence just completely fails.
Some examples of this:
You may see a pattern here, but this is an everyday struggle. For some reason, closing Edge and reopening it will sometimes correct this behavior. I'm losing my mind though, please help.
Hi @Louise Cranfield and @[deleted]
Please upgrade to Microsoft Edge version 44.18362.329.0 to fix the problem you are facing.
Here is the instruction for the upgrade:
Best Regards,
Saeed.
After upgrading to Windows 1809 , which was required to get Edge 44.18362.449.0, the problem has been fixed! Confluence now loads properly.
Thanx Saeed.

Hello Josh,
This can be extremely frustrating to deal with, even more so when it's something that has to be done throughout that day and is slowing you down.
Microsoft Edge is a supported browser for Confluence, so there is no issue in using Edge with Confluence.
With that said, let’s gather a bit more detail here:
Something else to try would be the Microsoft Edge support doc for; What to do if Microsoft Edge isn’t working.
It will run through a couple steps on how to clear your browser history, data or run a repair on Edge in the event Edge is having an issue.
We look forward to your response so we can get this resolved for you!
Regards,
Stephen Sifers

Hi @Stephen Sifers,
I am having the same issue as @joshtried the steps described in the link you provided. But it did not fix the issue and I still get the confluence icon and a blank page.
Is there any other remedies you can provide. Others in my team can access the same page on Edge, I can easily access the confluence on Chrome, but not Edge. My default browser is Edge and we are a MS shop, so everything is MS based.
Appreciate you help.
Best Regards,
Saeed.

Sorry I never got back to this or accepted the answer. I just moved to Chrome. I wonder if I still have issues on Edge. I guess I should try.

I may have to do the same, but it is annoying as the other work I do is in Edge which is the default browser. I can access Jira Cloud on it, too. But not Confluence Cloud.

I have the exact same issue as well. Jira Cloud works on Edge. Confluence used to work without issues, but one day just decided to stop working. Now, I just get the icon and a blank screen.

Same issue with me - Confluence will no longer load in Edge. Extremely annoying especially in a corporate environment where Office 365 and Microsoft suite is the only usable software ! Seems ridiculous that Confluence wouldn't be compatible with the biggest OS based browser....

I managed to fix my problem by forcing an OS update on my computer to move from build version 1709 to version 1903. I can now access Confluence with no issue.
Check the version of your MS Edge and if it is 41.16299.1004.0, then for sure upgrading the OS to the newer version will solve your problem.

Saeed.

Same, I'm using Edge 42.17134.1.0 and Confluence is not loading, and it's not loading for my client either - on totally separate network and OS.
