Confluence: cannot edit Office 2013 files with Windows 7 and IE 10

Hello,

We're actually using Confluence 5.4. Our client pc's use Windows 7 x64 (or will do soon) with IE 10.  In this constellation, we didn't manage to edit attached word files.

Since we can't upgrade to IE 11 (same with office package) we need another solution to fix this.

Please help!
