Confluence cloud Insert excerpt macro display error when editing

Two days ago I started to have an issue with my Insert excerpt macros.  When editing them they are now displaying vertically, one letter below the other.  When published they are fine.  It is making it very difficult to edit the pages as I use these a lot.  I don't know if it is something that I've done or an Atlassian issue.  I can't find anything else reported.

I am experiencing the same issue. This was working fine up to about a week ago and it's now it's super annoying. The good news is that it only affects editors and doesn't render this way on the actual updated page. Hope they patch it globally soon!
