Confluence crash when configuring anonymous access

TLDR: When I configure Confluence for anonymous the site crashes but the service still runs and I cant see anything in any logs.

This is caused by the settings that make a space available for anonymous users. I have a test space, I opened it up for anonymous access and site crashed. When I try to enter the site i get: 

"Http/1.1 Service Unavailable"

Service is running. A reset of service does not work. A restart of server does not work.

All I see in the logs are:

How to give non Confluence users access to a Space

Also, are you able to revert those changes and access Confluence once again?

Further, could you clarify some points for us? Here they are:

1. Has this worked at some point?
2. Can you explain how you applied the anonymous access settings?
3. Were changes other than the anonymous access applied?
4. Is this your production environment?
5. If you revert the changes are you able to access Confluence?
