Confluence digest/suggested content emails

Is it possible to disable digest emails for users who have restricted access?

Unfortunately, no, by default all users are subscribed the recommended updates email, and it is up to them to unsubscribe themselves. The good news is that users won't see any content in those emails that they can't see on the site, so if the user can only see a handful of pages or spaces, then their email will be similarly restricted.

Hello Matt,

I just got this problem in a digest email. It reported the creation of a space which was restricted and users started to ask for access. This should not have been reported in the email digest to users who did not have access to this space. I am using 5.4.3.

Is this an expected behavior ?
