We are using the Confluence data server v 7.13.
We just noticed the "```" sequence can create a code macro, which aligns with markdown syntax. Similarly, `mono` works, and others.
We think this was introduced in a recent version update. But we can't find the documentation on these markdown shortcuts anywhere?
Does anyone have a link?
Thanks
-Brett
Hi @Brett Hall ,
Thanks for sharing. Are you sure this was introduced in 7.13? I was just checking the change log and release notes - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-7-13-long-term-support-release-change-log-1044114094.html and https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-7-13-release-notes-1044114085.html but unable to track anything related to the above one. Would you mind taking a look in case not gone through?
Thanks @Suvradip PaulI'm not positive it was in 7.13. I also scanned release notes and didn't see anything that matched, looking further back too but maybe searching for the wrong terms...
I've googled and looked under the https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/keyboard-shortcuts-markdown-and-autocomplete/ where I see some markdown type shortcuts (like bolding something with *bold*) but now I'm wondering how far these macros go and if it's documented.
Thanks for your help

Thanks @Brett Hall , I had the same impressions for 7.13 while I posted last night. I think it was there before that most likely unnoticed.
I would see around if I can find anything documented.
