Confluence firewall rules

I've got two nodes running in a Confluence Datacenter that I'd like to run the system firewalls on for extra security.  The problem is that when I turn on the firewall on the local system (RHEL8), Confluence cannot be reached.  According to the documentation, the only ports required are ports 8090 and 8000, which I have configured.  I've also tried adding 8443 but still no workie.  

Does anyone have any advice on this?  Thanks!

Well... it was me.  It seems I forgot to add the interface to the firewall zone I created.  Thanks for the help, all.

It is possible to change the ports Confluence runs on, but you've got the two you need to open up for a default install.

We can't tell you how to set up your firewall - it's not an Atlassian thing, you could be running any one of a number of things, and you have not told us what firewall you are using or how you have not configured it to allow those ports.

Thank you for the response.  I don't want to change the ports on these systems; I want them to work with the firewall open.  I'm looking to see if I misconfigured something on the firewall because it makes no sense that it wouldn't work.

Before going to this documents, Please discuss with your network and security to team for the allow the firewall whitelist in the system. Once it confirmed from the security then try to followup the above documents.
