Confluence installation error.

Hi,

I have installed confluence latest version 6.13 in windows  OS

after installation, the confluence page is not opening and the confluence folder inside the application data is empty(home directroy).

Hello Pooja,

Normally right after install you have to configure Confluence through the web UI. We do need a bit more information to assist with this.

When you installed Confluence, did you select the default ports or did you customize the ports?

Normally it will be: http://localhost:8090 (if you accessing from the local machine).

When Confluence completed the install, did you select to start the Confluence server?

You may need to manually start the window server (if you installed as a service) or start the Confluence instance manually.

If you installed Confluence manually, and have Java installed on your server:

• To start Confluence run <installation-directory>\bin\start-confluence.bat
• To stop Confluence run <installation-directory>\bin\stop-confluence.bat

If the above are not working, please let us know if there are any events within the Windows Event log that relate to Confluence failing to start or load. Once we have additional information we can ensure you get a direction to help resolve this issue.
