Hi Sabitha,
You should be able to insert a Tableau report into Confluence by using the HTML Include Macro to include JavaScript which references your Tableau report as detailed in this thread from the Tableau Community covering Embedding Tableau Views on Atlassian Confluence.
Please keep in mind that the HTML Include Macro is meant to act as a container for HTML and JavaScript code snippets, but not complete HTML pages. This means that you should not include <head> or <body> tags, or you may face problems with your code functioning appropriately.
You may also want to look into using the 3rd party Schuberg Philis Tableau plugin which will allow you to embed Tableau views and workbooks within Confluence without having to fiddle with code.
Cheers,
Kenneth Giorno | Atlassian Support
We just released Tableau for Confluence Cloud which alows for the same kind of functionality in Cloud.
