Confluence macros don't display

Confluence version 5.3. When trying to Insert - Other Macros in popup window displayed only 4 macro in two tabs (All and External Content).

In all other blank page.

Also, while trying to add gliffy diagramm (Insert - Gliffy Diagram) first it shows gliffy edit page, but after exiting from it I recieve next message: "There is no metadata configured for this macro which means no configuration screen can be presented here".

Indeed, add the JVM parameter -Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=600 to increase the timeout value and then restart Confluence for the setting to be picked up. See Configuring System Properties for tips on how to set an environment variable.

In my case problem was in timeout, add in your setenv file: -Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=600.

Hi,

I also have exactly the same problem following a recent upgrade to 5.3

the parameter -Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=600 is set.

Can you please help?

In this case, it was due to proxy configuration. To check on this, we've temporarily bypass proxy and access Confluence directly via IP:port or localhost:port, temporarily update this new url into Confluence Admin > General Configuration > Base URL and check if the issue is reproducible.
