Hi All,
I have just installed Confluence using MySQL as the back end on a Win 7 Ultimate box. I think I am missing something or something is not installed quite right as pages are very minimal with no drop down menus etc.
e.g. on example space what I assum is the 'Tools' menu has a list of actions below it as shown below - its exactly like this btw:
Tools V
I also noted this error on one page:
Error formatting macro: recently-updated-dashboard: com.atlassian.confluence.renderer.template.TemplateRenderingException: Unable to compile Soy template in plugin module: confluence.macros.dashboard:dashboard-macros-resources
Many thanks for any help you can give me as I am at complete loss right now.
Nick
Hi Tim
Thanks for the response. I did create a support ticket in the end however when I was about to flush the plugin cache I noticed that the machine only had 9Gb available on its c drive!! So I re-sized this to over a 100Gb and not surprisingly things started to work properly!!!
I am not sure how the system managed only to render part of the screen and sort of function with the lack of disk space... regardless increasing the space resolved the problem without the need to flush the cache. Sorry for the false alarm.

Sounds like it could be a more serious problem: I wouldn't know until you posted the full logs. If necessary: I'd recommend creating a full support ticket.
In any case- you might want to try clearing your plugin cache.
