Confluence not starting up after reboot

Hi everyone.

I have done a clean install of confluence on a windows 2012 server a few days ago, then loaded in a bunch of documents.

Today I came in and found I can't access it any more.
I checked the logs and the server did a reboot (windows updates) and I suspect that is whats caused something to break.

I have checked the confluence logs and I can't find anything to hint at what has happened.

I have tested netstat and can confirm that the ports are open.
and can see the service running in my task manager processes.

Any ideas what I can try next? 
Tempted to just do a rebuild, but dont want to loose the data I have already loaded into the system.

I finally managed to figure it out
Forgot there was another log section and found reference to the database password.
Not sure why that would have changed, but setting a new password seemed to fix it.

Welcome on Community.

Some point to check. 

• There are Free space on disk? No free space no service running
• You said: I have done a clean install of confluence on a windows 2012 server a few days ago, then loaded in a bunch of documents.So: Home directory if full?
• Database is ok? where is located database? same server or another one? DB Server works? Have free space?
• Disable automatic backup schedulation.
• Have you checked windows event viewer? it's ok?

Can provide more information about log?
