Confluence on using SAN (storage area network)

Hi All,

I am quite new to Confluence and SAN.

I have a cluster with 2 linux machines and need to connected to storage via SAN, the company i am working with wanted to achieve dependency and data integrity using the above setup.

Is it possible to installe the Confluence on the SAN and we connect both linux machines to the same disk array in the SAN to achieve the both above?

Or install Confluence cluster on both linux machine and set both the Confluence home on same array in SAN?

Which one is the correct way?
