Since the backup is quite huge in size, the restoration process may take some time to finish but if its taking up so much time, hours and hours had passed by but the process is still not finished, it's time to check <confluence-home>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log and check if there is any erorr reported which is related to the process. Then, we can determine/find out if the task is actually successful or might be stucked halfway.
May I know if you were trying to migrate a version of Confluence from one server to another server or upgrading a Confluence instance to a higher version?
