Revision # $content.version
Hello @Jill Steeves
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Confluence Cloud does not provide functionality natively to create custom macros.
It appears that it might be possible if you add the ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud app to your instance, but I have not actually tried this out.

Hello @Jill Steeves
User Macro is a missed feature in the Cloud.
That's why we created an app to substitute it: User Macro for Confluence Cloud app.
The same output will be achieved with the following template:
$page.version.number
* We migrate your macros to the Cloud if needed
However, if you need just simple information about pages (Version, Page Properties, Status, etc.) you can give a try to our much simpler app: Page Information Macro
