Hi,
I'm trying to get the Confluence mobile app working on IOS12 device. I followed the guide at https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/can-t-get-a-secure-connection-error-on-confluence-server-mobile-app-940695063.html?_ga=2.159807226.617285392.1547551120-1779767841.1539165495 without success.
I'm not that familiar whit the certificates - the certificate for the confluence server includes 4 files. I installed all of them as profiles and then enabled "AddTrust External CA root" from ios certs - but still i get the same error.
Hello,
Does your site use HTTPS, and has your server admin already installed the certs themselves on the server?
Since you mentioned you're not that familiar with certificates, you might want to take the list of causes to your server admin, and they can review the steps:
your certificate is self signed.
the Certificate Authority (CA) is unknown, or is not one that Android / iOS trusts by default (for example it might be a new CA that is not yet trusted, or a private CA).
your certificate is missing an intermediate CA, affecting the certificate chain.
your site has HTTPS enabled, but your proxy is not configured to allow TLS 1.2 traffic.
you are using an earlier version of the Confluence Server mobile app that did not allow HTTP connections.
you are connecting to a version of Confluence Server that does not support the mobile app (6.7.x or earlier).
Could you also confirm with me 1) what version of Confluence you're running, and 2) if any of the other users are also having trouble using the Confluence Server mobile app?
Regards,
Shannon
