Confluence, some spaces have floating footer. How can I change that?

In some of my spaces the footer floating at the bottom of the screen and taking a lot of space. Other spaces do not have this issue. 

Does anyone know how to change this? I want the footer not to be floating and occupying the screen.

probably the space developer added a common footer to some of your spaces

look at the "space layout" - you should see a footer area - it probably has some macro call which is generating this common content
