All tab related macros not working in confluence, so there is no way to add tabs to a page and one needs to just add another child page. very annoying.
does anyone know how to overpass this or some creative hack?
Yes, you can't do that using the built-in features of Confluence. But you can add a macro tab using Content Formatting Macros for Confluence.
Also, this app has other macros for improving confluence pages: background, cards, alerts, buttons, etc.
Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions about this app (it's is developed by my team)
