Confluence weblink target issue

Deleted user November 20, 2012

Confluence v4.3

When setting up weblink on a confluence page I cannot pick the target for the link.

By default it seem to use the same window. Is there any way to change this behavior so that when I click a link it opens in a new tab or window? (without having to right click "open in new tab\window")

Hi,

It is possible with back end customisation.

Unfortunately I do not know any more details.

Cheers,

Hi there,

There isn't a setting in Confluence that would make this possible as far as I'm aware (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Perhaps you would like to create a feature request for this matter in https://jira.atlassian.com so it can hopefully be implemented in the near future.

Cheers
